Responsibility for the Global Chaos Lies with the American Voter

Who is responsible for the rise of ISIS? The furthering of the goals of the MB? The muslim invasion of Europe?

Easy: The American voters so clueless as to other cultures and world history that they really don’t get that ISIS IS islam, that islam ALWAYS has spread via the sword, and that Obama is BOTH a muslim AND a radical fundamentalist Islamist intent on the overthrow of Western political, cultural and economic institutions.

Next question:

WHO is responsible for the return to the global stage of Russia?

Same voters. People actually (if you can believe this) so stupid as […]

GOP: Cold War Not Over

For unknown reasons the GOP is unable to accept that the Cold War ended a quarter-century ago.

Every candidate – with the exception of Rand Paul – is saying “we need a stronger military.” Carly even gave us numbers. But… why? We already have the strongest military in the history of the known universe.

Why do we need a stronger military? Why does the GOP keep demanding it? Because Reagan demanded – and got – it? That was during the Cold War and we needed it. But – we won the Cold War; it’s over.

Should we never go […]

Russian Expansion: Get Past the Cold War Thoughtbox.

The Cold War was about keeping the USSR contained. Well, that’s over – we won. Yet we continue to keep defending against Russian expansion. It’s time to ask, “Why?”

It has been said by many that the purpose of NATO is to “Keep the Americans in, the Russians out and the Germans down.”

Look around:

  • Americans are stupid to still be in: Seriously – what would we do – attack Merkel to stop the muslim invasion of Germany? Attack Sweden to stop it there? These are choices these elected governments and their citizen voters have made.

The GOP Needs to Reconsider Defense Spending

As one can tell from the demands of and by people who should know better that wars can be won by spying on ourselves, and by all other GOP candidates to increase defense spending, Rand has not come close to convincing the GOP candidates and voters that increasing our military spending is not useful. All the others want to build a bigger DoD and send our men to kill their men – but not to win.

A question in two parts. But context is needed, context ignored by those who support the standard GOP response to anything military: Build a […]

The Meaning of Ukraine

Putin is gobbling Ukraine.

The non-American West is wringing its hands.

The vacationing American president isn’t even doing that; he’s at the beach.

In the 1994 Budapest Agreement, Ukraine agreed to remove all nuclear weapons from its territory in return for a commitment by Russia, Britain and the US, “to respect the independence and sovereignty and existing borders of Ukraine.”

Have you heard of Britain not living up to an agreement to respect sovereignty, and what happened next…?

But now America, the global guarantor of peace for generations (until we elected the Communist dictator in the White House) also is […]
