Interesting Climate Change Interview
Monday, December 7th, 2009 under Climate, DomesticThis is a very interesting read.
It’s from 2000, but a good interview (on PBS, of all places) between a climate scientist and PBS. THe climate scientist is Dr S Fred Singer. He is an atmospheric physicist at George Mason University and founder of the Science and Environmental Policy Project, a think tank on climate and environmental issues.
Some of it’s a bit dated. Singer says, for example, that no one is falsifying data, but on the major topic and impacts and ideas of consensus, it’s pretty good. He talks about models, what if the climate warms, that a warmer world will cause more[…]

Monday, December 7th, 2009 under Climate, DomesticJust in case you’ve been wondering what’s going on in the US of A re: climate gate….
NASA has had multiple FOIA requests for its climate data. They, too, have refused to honor them. (Wasn’t it the Dems who put together the whole FOIA infrastructure? Just checking.)
Now some folks are getting upset, and threatening to sue NASA under FOIA if it doesn’t release its data by year-end.
This should be interesting. Either NASA has real data supporting the CRU fake data, which means CRU is totally incompetent and can’t even read a thermometer… or NASA, too, has been, uh.. umm…. ahh.. manipulating[…]

Global Norming Concensus Proves Climate Strange Is Real
December 2nd, 2009 by admin
Using a highly reliable measuring system know as the five senses, human beings in their billions have come to the conclusion, that the only certainty about the weather on planet earth, is that it keeps on changing in very strange ways. Some times hot, sometimes cold, sometimes wet, sometimes dry. This mind blowing discovery that affects all our lives has been dubbed Global Norming. Otherwise know as Climate Strange. What effects this will have on future generations nobody knows, but[…]
Obama in Copenhagen…. will he or won’t he?
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 under Climate, DomesticThis is an excellent post in PowerLine, written by Paul Rahe*.
Will Obama, as promised in his inaugural, “restore science to its rightful place”?
Or… not….?
We shall see next week if he is capable of restoring science to where it belongs… or is hostage to a view of Climate Change held by the UN, the EU, the American Left… but no thinking people.
*Paul A. Rahe holds the Charles O. Lee and Louise K. Lee Chair in the Western Heritage at Hillsdale College. He is the author, most recently, of the companion studies: Montesquieu and the Logic of Liberty: War, Religion, Commerce, Climate, Terrain, Technology, Uneasiness of[…]

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 under Climate, Domestic, PoliticsA comment about the Global Warming fiasco currently in the news.
Climate Change True Believers remain among us, even after all the evidence of manipulated data, lies, deletions, etc.
And many are talking and writing about the “reality” of climate change (as though the climate has ever NOT been changing), and that the “damage [from global warming] is real.”
So let’s admit that, yes, environmental damage IS real. Whether this “damage” (must “change” be “damage”?) is caused by Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) seems now to be a closed case – it is NOT.
But…
Those who enjoy the outdoors and a clean environment want to[…]
Continue ReadingA REAL stimulus idea - even enacts Congressional priorities, FWIW
Tuesday, August 25th, 2009 under Climate, Domestic, Politics, Taxes & EconomyHere’s an idea to help those most hurt on a day-to-day basis by the economic downturn.
Obama and the Democrats profess to want a few major changes around here. Green jobs and alternative sources of electrical energy are high on their list. One also notes that putting folks back to work, particularly in construction, would be a VERY GOOD THING, both economically and politically.
And of course there’s the idea still running around that the $787B stimulus bill, well, it didn’t really stimulate anything… how do we fix that? Do we re-stimulate the economy? If so – how?
Since it’s past obvious that NOT[…]
Continue ReadingJapan scientists ridicule Global Warming as “Astrology”
Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 under Climate, Domestic, Foreign Policy and InternationalGee - what a concept…
Japanese scientists have made a dramatic break with the United Nations’ view on man-made global warming with a report asserting that “this hypothesis has been substituted for truth.”
Three of the five researchers involved in the report disagree with the view of the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that recent warming is due primarily to industrial emissions of greenhouse gases, and say it is instead driven by natural cycles.
The report was issued by the Japan Society of Energy and Resources, an academic group representing scientists from the energy and resource fields that acts as a[…]
Where to Find the Truth Nowadays…?
Wednesday, January 14th, 2009 under Climate, Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, The Rest of the WorldFor those old enough to remember the Cold War, complete with daily lies in the daily Pravda (house organ of the USSR), including “correct” versions of old photos from which “non-persons” have been airbrushed out (such as Kruschev following his ouster from the Politburo), it is a bit unsettling - but not particularly surprising - that as the New York Times has become the house organ for the socialist Left in America (closely imitated by the Washington Post and the LA Times) as we move distinctly Left, one can actually now go to Pravda for the truth as Russia has at[…]
Continue ReadingYet More Mainstream Discussion re: the Hoax of Global Warming
Monday, January 5th, 2009 under Climate, DomesticFor good or ill, the Huffington Post has become a watering hole for the thirsty on the Left. Since they post and believe what is there, the below is interesting - and quoted in the Wall Street Journal.
Not only is Huffington starting to publish opinion that the entire Al Gore-inspired (and enriching - he’s now worth over $100M thanks to this scare nonsense) Global Warming scare is the garbage that all serious scientists have always said it to be, both primary Weather Reporters on CNN (not a right wing bastion) have joined scientists such as the head of Meteorology at[…]

Snow in Malibu…
One needs to be seriously - and intentionally - ignorant to beleive in global warming. There is just too much real, empirical evidence that the planet not only is NOT warming, but that it is cooling faster than ever in history…
And Obama wants to tax carbon…..
As Michael Crichton said, “Have we all lost our minds?”
Here’s why we need to understand carbon and the warming cycle: We’ll need to start warming the planet manually within 20 years or we’re screwed…. warming[…]
