The two biggest issues of our time are education and childlessness. Not only are these tough problems to fix - the fixes take a long time.

Logic, Laziness and Government

Let’s talk about logic and laziness, and its impact on government.

One of the conclusions I have recently reached is that the Baby Boomers are extraordinarily, historically, appallingly lazy. How did I arrive at that conclusion?

Logic.

America once was a country in which hard work was valued. Dads worked hard at the office, the factory, the construction site, wherever. Moms worked hard at home and often also did the hard work of teaching and educating our kids - kids every family had. Teachers worked hard at their jobs. The Problem with Rush

Don’t get me wrong – I am not a Rush basher.

To the contrary, Rush has done some very good things for the country. The only ones who lack this understanding are those trying to turn America into something it is not and never has been (and one hopes never will be), and those believing (unwilling to listen or to think for themselves) the stereotype fashioned by a media unable to compete with Rush in historical knowledge, popularity, ratings, ideas and the ability to articulate them to America.

We Are Broke - Our Government is Totally Out of Control

So – here’s the deal in a nutshell according to the Director of the Congressional Budget Office (currently run by Democrats as they control Congress).

Regarding the Economy

In this OpEd the WSJ published a rant about Obama’s rhtetoric, concluding that, ”A more cool-headed assessment of the economy’s woes might produce better policies.”

“Better” as in ‘better for Americans, their families and their future’? Or “better” as in ‘turning America into a socialist economy and political system reined over by illiberal Democrats for generations to come’? 

The author does not say.

It is foolish to assume - as the Right always does - that the Left has the same goals of freedom, prosperity, liberty and an educated citizenry as does the Right. They don’t and they never have. Failure to understand this results in[…]
