Trump v GOPe – and Why

A baseball metaphor for American political parties: We have been losing America, our liberty, freedom, the Rule of Law because the GOP thinks they are playing Sunday-afternoon softball at a church social & laughing & joking as their opponents have been sharpening their spikes, sliding high and playing dirty baseball, beanball, spitball and cheating as hard and as often as they can.

Democrats have been destroying our liberty, freedom, wealth, rule of law – and the education of American’s future – our kids (not theirs) since 1964. Trump simply is saying, “Enough!” Many anti-Trump GOP elites seem to be happy losing the competition the GOP is playing (and the Democrats are fighting), as long as we play nicely and have an (R) on our uniform shirt.

This isn’t a game, GOP – it’s a war for our future. As with America v. radical islam, only our enemy is fighting as hard as they can.

GOP elites, Chamber of Commerce, donors, no longer care about the foundation of America, which is the Rule of Law. If the law doesn’t do what they want, if it doesn’t enhance their bottom line – they want, they demand, the law be ignored. This is how the entire immigration problem has become so severe. America IS the Rule of Law. Has the GOP put Lerner in jail? Hillary? Impeached Obama? Sued for Separation of Powers? Arrested any of the “kill all the White People” enemies of law, and of civil society? No. These violations of law help, not harm them. If you think the go-along donor party the GOP has become will reduce these violations of the law, and of the Supreme Law of the Land, rather than expand them, you are not paying attention – and haven’t been for years.

We live in an increasingly tough world. It is past time for the GOP voters to accept that and choose national leadership based on what we are losing by supporting the mainstream GOP namby-pamby Romney flavor of the month. We are losing our future. As Stengel said, “Nice guys finish last.”

The GOPe reminds me of the surgeon who said the surgery want very well, excellently in fact – but the patient died. Sorry! The GOP doesn’t care if the patient (America) dies, as long as the surgeon has an (R) after his name.

I don’t want a kind, gentle, soft-spoken man of high character as president. The world is not Mr Rogers’ neighborhood, and never will be. We’ve been nominating nice old folks unwilling to actually fight for the law since 1988. The result? The Left is destroying our future. I want a mean, pro-America, pro-law-and-willing-to-fight-for-it SOB in the White House to lead America against other SOBs, particularly on the Left, as that’s where the most dangerous enemies are.

Thinking we can defeat Barack “if they bring a knife…. we bring a gun” Obama with kindness is childish.

Real life is not about choices between good & bad: It’s between bad & worse. Hillary is the “worse.” EVERYONE else is bad to one degree or another; I don’t see a “good” on-offer. And I see one, and exactly and only one, pro-American running: Trump.

We have voted a larger GOP majority in every election since Obama came to power: 2010, 2012, 2014. The larger the majority we have given the GOP, the more Progressive programs and policies they pass. We have been electing a Progressive Fifth Column – yes, read the link –  more dangerous than the enemy as they gain power pretending to be our friend.

The GOP says we must elect an establishment, experienced Republican or we’ll go deeper in debt, yet 100% of the debt added since January 2011, was passed by the GOP establishment; it’s not Democrat debt – it’s GOPe debt. NINE TRILLION DOLLARS OF IT.

Here is a good column from a former columnist for the WSJ, now writing for the IBD. He is not a Trump supporter, but he’s not a Trump hater, either. He makes some good points and I recommend reading it. Here is a video from a Tuscon cop who attended a Trump rally to see if the media were presenting anything even remotely close to the reality of Trump, his rallies and his supporters. (Surprise – the media is not.)

Trump is the will of the people. Isn’t that what a democratic republic is all about? The DNC/GOP Fusion party seems to think America, rather, is a People’s Democratic Republic.

America isn’t an oligarchy and it isn’t about what the elites want – it’s about what WE want. Yet we have all these talking heads telling us WE are wrong.

Bertholt Brecht, a Marxist playwright in East Germany, once “noticed the public losing faith in the government, [and] quipped that it would better to dissolve the people and appoint another one.”

Isn’t that exactly what the GOP is planning for the Convention? To “dissolve the people[‘s vote] and appoint another”?!?

When the people we elect to represent us (not to represent the donors, the Chamber of Commerce, the hedge funds, but to represent us) refuse to do so, we no longer are a republic, “of the people, by the people, for the people,” we are an oligarchy. The GOP pretends that, as long as there is an (R) after the destroyer’s name, “we” have won, regardless of how many Progressive lefty statist programs they support and on which they spend our kids’ money.

In fact, those passing Progressivism are the enemy of America’s future, and it doesn’t matter if they have a (D) or an (R) after their names.

I blogged yesterday that the reason other governments are whining about Trump is they see he may well stop the gravy train American taxpayers foolishly have been paying for since 1945. Time to kick them out of the nest, make them grow up. That’s why THEY are trying to influence our elections. Our elections are NONE of their business. They’ve infantilized themselves since 1945 and we need to quit subsidizing their diapers.

So what if Europe doesn’t like us? Only children care if they are liked. Adults do the right thing and let the chips fall where they may. But making decisions that have a negative impact on our future in order to please others (like the idiotic president of Mexico who is trying to subvert our elections because he is incapable of running an un-corrupted country and providing Mexicans a decent life) is absurd. So WHAT if they don’t like us?!? Every time they get in serious trouble they whine we aren’t there quickly enough. Screw them!

Unless the leaders and citizens of other nations think their people are idiots and Americans are supermen, all they need to do to become as wealthy and free as we (once were, before Obama & the GOPe), is to follow the Rule of Law, adopt America’s Constitution, stop corrupting themselves… and start having children and going to work.

It ain’t rocket science.

That they have chosen and will continue to choose none of these is not my problem. It’s not my kids’ problem, it’s not America’s problem. It’s THEIR problem. And it’s time for us to stop subsidizing and stop defending nations that don’t believe in the rule of law or the future. It’s time for America to tell them to piss off.

And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, not only is long overdue, it seems something only Trump will do.

About Alex Scipio

About Alex Scipio: Alex moved out of the People's Republic of California to the Free State of Arizona, finally tiring of the lack of the Bill of Rights, the overgrown idiocracy, and the catering to non-Americans & welfare recipients. He still wonders how America got from Truman, Eisenhower, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan to the Liberal and Conservative extremes so badly managing America today. And, yes, islam DOES need to be annihilated. And doing what he can to get folks away from the extremes of political life.
