The Infantilization of Colleges will Harm America in the Long Term

When all the White protesters are unable to process adulthood without protections, it’s time to re-examine the entrance criteria.

When nearly all the Black protesters are on scholarship to play games, maybe it’s time to revisit the entire scholarship-to-play-games paradigm and get back to academics, Classical Liberalism and Western Civ?

These widdle kiddies are yammering to be treated as pre-scshoolers. Throw them out and admit kids serious about their education. Millions of students who WANT to learn would fill these halls in a NY minute.

Obviously anyone in a post-secondary educational setting who requires “trigger warnings” and “safe spaces” will not bring anything of value to the study of our civilization and culture, nor to the works that made it what it is, from Faulkner to Hemingway to Fitzgerald to Twain, Churchill, Grant, Lincoln, or the European authors who preceded them in establishing what Western Civ is all about. If they refuse to study it, they can not profit from post-secondary education and do not belong there.

Can one imagine these imbeciles reading Huck Finn without fainting dead away? Chaucer? Shakespeare? They need to bone-up on See Spot Run, because anything more complex is too challenging for them to deal with. They’d probably go catatonic reading Sinclair Lewis or Upton Sinclair

Nor will they add value to the real world once their coddled college years provide them with a degree (they are ensuring they will NOT get an education; only a degree – don’t confuse the two).

If one has decided (no one is pushing these kiddies; they are making these infantile decisions on their own) not to prepare for adulthood, no reason exists for them to take-up valuable space at important universities whose entire purpose is that preparation.

In short – these kids are acting as a bunch of pre-adolescent whiny spoiled toddlers. America does itself a disservice allowing these dolts to take college places from real students (def: “a person formally engaged in learning“) who actually want to learn – and who value that learning.

Try to imagine, just for a second, these kiddies as…. parents?!?! Next try to imagine how they will treat the teachers of their own children in school.

Can you say “civilizational entropy“?

If you think we have a Congress now who can’t get along…

About Alex Scipio

About Alex Scipio: Alex moved out of the People's Republic of California to the Free State of Arizona, finally tiring of the lack of the Bill of Rights, the overgrown idiocracy, and the catering to non-Americans & welfare recipients. He still wonders how America got from Truman, Eisenhower, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan to the Liberal and Conservative extremes so badly managing America today. And, yes, islam DOES need to be annihilated. And doing what he can to get folks away from the extremes of political life.

College professors are finally reaping what they have sown. The ultimate of victimhood.
