Voting for America

America is not just a geography. It’s not just a country. It’s an idea. It’s the Enlightenment, the Renaissance and the Industrial Age. It’s the Space Age & the Information Age. It’s modern computing & communications, transportation & manufacturing, medicine and agriculture. It is Individual Liberty and Personal Freedom.

Above all else, America is the Rule of Law. For only law can provide the benefits that created America.

America began as the only nation in which Law superseded family, connections, birth, tradition or caste. America became the powerhouse it is because of the Rule of Law. Not because of race or gender, not because of welfare, not because of or in spite of any particular religion.

And it is LAW that is precisely what is at stake in our elections.

On one side we have the GOP. Who is the GOP?

The GOP is the Party that put Law above race – and freed the slaves. The Party that put Law above race – and tried to pass federal anti-lynching legislation throughout the 1920s and 1930s – only to have it rejected by Democrats. The GOP is the Party that sent the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army to remove the Democrats standing in the schoolhouse door preventing the enrollment of African Americans. The Party who fought Democrats to ensure the 2nd Amendment was applied equally to Blacks, thereby allowing self-defense against the Democrat KKK and its shooters – like those who killed Medgar Evers and Dr Martin Luther King. The Party that created Affirmative Action via a Nixon (R) Executive Order. The Party that voted in higher majorities for the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act than did Democrats. Why? Because a nation cannot be free under the Law if the Law is not equally applied.

The GOP is the Party that put the Rule of Law and self-determination over constant warfare, by stopping the enemies of freedom with Eisenhower’s (R) back-channel nuclear threats to Red China if they refused the peace table, thereby returning the Rule of Law to a war-ravaged nation by ending the Korean War. The Party whose foreign policy was “massive retaliation” which ended the Korean War and prevented any war during the term of its sponsor, Eisenhower (R), ensuring no peoples fell to the Rule of Man and the totalitarianism of the Left, and prevented the rise of a trillion-dollar Military-Industrial Complex and its own debilitating effect on the Law, against which he presciently warned us. A policy supporting Law above all else that, had it been followed by JFK (D) or LBJ (D), would have saved millions of lives – and trillions of dollars – and precluded the worst foreign policy catastrophe and most immoral action America has ever undertaken: Vietnam, a “Limited War” that split America, perhaps irrevocably, that will continue to resonate at least until the Baby Boomers are dead and gone. Had the folly of “Limited War” (in its essence an acceptance of the battlefield Rule of Man rather than the expeditious return to the Rule of Law that foolishly was adopted by the same man who ended the most destructive war in history with the most unlimited warfare ever unleashed) never been attempted, but instead had the enemies of Law and Freedom in Korea – a test/proxy – been annihilated immediately, one can only wonder at what would have been the remainder of the 20th Century. No Vietnam? No Angola? No USSR-Afghanistan? No Bush43-Obama war-without-end in S. Asia? Trillions of dollars not wasted by governments but used to raise economies globally? LAW and not MAN. (No, the USSR would not have begun WW3; asked by Mao about invading S Korea, Stalin was skeptical but intrigued in how America might react – and unwilling to use Russians to find out; what he learned led to Vietnam. How different would the world be had he learned our answer was a couple of nukes? For one, his major antagonist, China, would have been reduced. For another, America never would have needed to engage in Vietnam.)

The GOP is the Party that demands School Choice because no human is free who remains uneducated, and the atrocious and declining education levels in America have been falling since Democrats unionized and took over K-12. The Party that puts merit and results, and our nation’s entire future, above tenure, permanent mediocrity and sloth. The Party understanding that, without educated voters the Rule of Law cannot exist, and that Democrat policies in education have given the most powerful nation in history the most ignorant voters on the planet.

The GOP is the Party whose economic policies provide hope and jobs and work and increased living standards to all willing to work – and why should those unwilling to work gain the benefits of those who do? The Party that worked across the aisle with Democrats in the 1990s to reform Welfare, to re-engage millions into the work force, providing personal dignity and a better future for themselves and their posterity – only to have Democrats a decade later, with the wave of an Executive pen rather than the Law, destroy the hope that had helped millions off of Welfare rolls – and back into dependent poverty.

The GOP is the Party whose voters believe in tomorrow and so both populate it and resist the trillions of dollars of intergenerational theft used to buy short-term power today. The party whose Total Fertility Rate is positive, rather than the negative TFR of Democrats – voters who don’t believe in the future enough to populate it, but don’t mind stealing future living standards or using-up resources they are not replenishing in Medicare and Social Security.

On the other side we have Democrats. Who are Democrats?

Democrats are the Party of the Confederacy, the KKK, of Teacher Unions, of the abject and expensive failure of “Limited War,” adopted also unfortunately by our last Republican president when he decided being nice (“compassionate conservatism”) rather than being adult outweighed personal responsibility and the future – and freedom – of a nation. The Party that puts permanent dependency on Big Government – thereby permanent votes FOR Big Government, i.e. power  – above Education, above Law, above Liberty, above Freedom and the Personal Responsibility it demands. Above what it means to BE America and American.

Who created the dependency of Welfare and its decline of the Family that has driven down education, freedom, liberty, wealth and prosperity, while driving up violent crime? The Party that trades human dignity for votes? Democrats.

Who created the idea that we could kill and kill and kill our enemies and our own kids for decades, rather than just annihilate our enemies and save our kids – our future? Democrats.

Who created the idea that the jobs of a few teachers, regardless of their lack of ability, are more important than the education of millions of the next generation of American entrepreneurs, workers, teachers and voters? Democrats. Democrats have owned all major school districts since FDR – and every single one is worse and declining.

Who created the ideas that high minimum wages, strong government-sector unions (which are nothing but Democrat patronage jobs driving the tax dollars of all Americans into Democrat campaign coffers), and massive taxation & the redistribution of earned wealth will increase living standards? The same people who gave the world Detroit – the embodiment of those policies: Democrats.

Who creates an inexorably rising Income Gap? The same people on whose watch that Gap increases, year by year: Democrats. Contrary to popular wisdom, the Income Gap ALWAYS rises under Democrat administrations and falls under the GOP.

Voting is about our Future.

What future do Democrat policies bring? Detroit. Dependency. Waste. Impoverishment. Poor and declining education. Declining fertility and fewer Americans, and the loss of their ideas, talents and abilities. Rising wealth inequality. A declining nation without a future.

What future do GOP policies bring? Increased living standards. Increased wealth. Better education. A lower Income Gap and decreasing income inequality. Less dependency and more dignity. An America with a bright and shining future.

Voting for Democrats will bring you Detroit. No instances exist in which Democrat policies improved living standards of a community or nation.

Voting for Republicans will bring you the Rule of Law, and the higher employment, increased wealth and higher living standards all Americans enjoyed from 1982-2000.

When you vote – vote as though the future of the world depends on it.

Because it does.

If you want stagnation, decline, poorer education, poorer cities, increased inequality, poorer citizens and the Rule of Man, vote Democrat. It’s what their policies always bring.

If you want Freedom, Liberty, increased living standards and education, increased human dignity and the Rule of Law, vote Republican.

I’m voting for America: The Rule of Law.

About Alex Scipio

About Alex Scipio: Alex moved out of the People's Republic of California to the Free State of Arizona, finally tiring of the lack of the Bill of Rights, the overgrown idiocracy, and the catering to non-Americans & welfare recipients. He still wonders how America got from Truman, Eisenhower, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan to the Liberal and Conservative extremes so badly managing America today. And, yes, islam DOES need to be annihilated. And doing what he can to get folks away from the extremes of political life.
