Rule of Law?

Rule of Law. Does it apply to only me – but not to the government?

If the government can get away with “I don’t remember” every time they break the law – do we really live under the Rule of Law? Of course not.

If I break the law – what happens? If govt officials break the law – what happens? Do the same things happen to me that happen to government officials? So – do we live under the rule of law?

Since it’s pretty evident we DO NOT ANY LONGER live under the Rule of Law, why do I need to obey laws government officials disobey at their leisure – all the while collecting salary, benefits and perks I PAY FOR at the cost of lowering MY FAMILY’s standard of living?

Maybe it’s just time to acknowledge that the Rule of Law no longer applies… and act accordingly?

About Alex Scipio

About Alex Scipio: Alex moved out of the People's Republic of California to the Free State of Arizona, finally tiring of the lack of the Bill of Rights, the overgrown idiocracy, and the catering to non-Americans & welfare recipients. He still wonders how America got from Truman, Eisenhower, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan to the Liberal and Conservative extremes so badly managing America today. And, yes, islam DOES need to be annihilated. And doing what he can to get folks away from the extremes of political life.
