China Rising made the cut!
If you haven’t yet bought and read this geopolitical thriller – you should. Really. Seriously… Get it for a rainy winter afternoon and sit back and enjoy yourself….
Is it topical and current? Hmmmm … well, it starts off with North Korea selling nuke missiles to islamist terrorists… been reading the news lately? … it’s what happens NEXT that is cool – and completely realistic. In fact, here’s the Amazon review from a former Commissioner on the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission:
Riveting, brilliant, terrifying, hopeful, insightful beyond imagining. Turns your worldview upside down alongside a narrative you can’t put down. Truly one of the most extraordinary books I’ve ever read, as an avid fan of fiction and one who has studied China’s modern rise in great detail as a Commissioner on the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission.
China Rising questions accepted concepts and our preconceived notions about Western, Eastern and Middle Eastern worldviews in ways that the reader will not expect – a firestorm of political and national survival wrapped in a gripping storyline. It also captures important truths about some of the decision America is making today and how those decisions could impact our future as a nation and world power.
My only advice? Start reading it on a Saturday morning because you won’t be able to put it down.
Here is a page from my publisher on which you will find a text summary and a short (2-min) video of the novel, and from which you can order paperback, pdf or epub versions.
Here is the Amazon page from which you can find both Kindle and paper versions… and read the great reviews the book has received.
You can find it here for Nook.
If you’d like it in iBook format, go to iTunes Store and search for CHINA RISING. It’s listed in Books. (Another book has the same title – it’s by David Kang – that’s not the thriller you want to read… it’s non-fiction about peace, power and order in China. )
OBTW – China Rising also was awarded an Honorable Mention in both the Southern California Book Festival and the Hollywood Book Festival.
Have a good time reading it!
