In all the years since D-Day, there are three occasions on which an American president rejected making a memorial speech and/or visit honoring the American soldiers killed during the invasion that was the beginning of the end for the continential enemies of freedom.
The occasions were:
1. Barack Obama 2010
2. Barack Obama 2011
3. Barack Obama 2012
For the past 68 years, all American presidents except Obama have paid tribute to the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice on June 6, 1944, to return peace and freedom to europe.
This year, instead of honoring the soldiers, he made a campaign trip on Air Force 1 to California to raise funds for the upcoming election – the election that will give him more “flexibility” in dealing with the Russians… you know.. those folks who have been trying since 1945 to remove the freedom those soldiers gave their lives to bring to europe…
