Of course this is not, nor has it ever been about healthcare. The adults in the nation know this. If it were about healthcare and the plan devised were a good one, Obama & Congress would not have exempted themselves from it.
Pretty basic stuff.
But, for those supporting this new concept that the American government somehow has the ability to tell us what to do, a question:
Given that all recent FBI crime stats show that the higher numbers of citizens in a community who legally can carry a concealed weapon, the lower the rate of violent crime, […]
Here is a book all those who profess to believe in multiculturalism should read.
If they agree with it, they truly can say they believe in multiculturalism.
If they have any reservations, then they are placing their own, Western-defined sensibilities above those of a culture they pretend is our equal.
Newsflash for the Left: NO culture is our equal. Not in science, medicine, food production, manufacturing, IT, communications, transportation, computing, energy production, exploration, environmental protection, animal rights, … or in Liberty, Freedom and Human Rights.[…]
The absurdity of some – many – in this discussion literally knows no bounds.
Iran is building a nuke. Period.
Ahmadinejad has stated many times, as has Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, their spiritual leader, that Israel must be destroyed. Fact.
Ahmadinejad believes that the coming of the 12th imam will be hastened by chaos.
A nuclear attack on Israel will result in the destruction of Israel and chaos, both STATED goals of the rulers of Iran. Yet the Left insists on projecting Western values and precepts in complete disregard of the multiculturalism they espouse.
Here’s their culture: Kill everyone in disagreement […]
This is how the Left in general, and Obama in particular, are denying your children the future they should have – and WOULD have absent the “Progressives” of the Left.

From 1947 to 2007, the U.S. economy averaged real growth of 3.2% a year. At that rate, our GDP would double every 22 years. It is that sustained, long term economic growth that made the United States into the world’s dominant superpower.
Last year, U.S. real economic growth was a paltry […]
Yet another columnist in the MSM has decided if we elect an R president, we’ll be going to war.
So I decided to do a partial update of this post from 2008. I’ve linked to it so many times it just keeps aggravating me how few people have ANY grasp of American history – recent or otherwise.
Anyway, here’s the update. You’ll have to go back to the original post for the reference links and tables.
Let’s look at the 19th-21st Centuries thus far, shall we? Which Party (or current Party predecessor) entered which foreign war?

In Athens, TN, in 1946, a corrupt political machine tried to repeat what they’d been doing for years – stealing an election from the People. Tampering with the Ballot Box. Intimidating the voters.
This time the opposition to those intimidating the voters and stealing the election included recently-returned veterans from WW2. Men who had fought, killed and died for freedom. And who were not averse to fighting for it at home.
Ben Franklin responded to a questioner in 1776 asking the kind of government America had been given. His response, “A republic, if you can keep it.”
Yesterday, 7 March 2012, SecDef Leon Panetta testified before Congress that the President of the United States may in fact be constrained by international law when deploying American military forces into combat, but is neither constrained by, nor subject to, nor must even inform the Congress of the United States when taking American citizens to combat to kill and to die in the name of the United States of America.
In fact, in the view of the Secretary of Defense of the United States of America, America requires permission from international bodies but NOT from the United States.
Bluntly, this […]
Be nice if America (and the West) again were led by adults. History shows that the longer one waits to confront an enemy, the more costly in blood and treasure when finally that confrontation arrives. And, as France and other nations learned in WW2, with delayed confrontation may not come victory or even national survival.
Nations wage war against adversaries whose behavior they deem sufficiently bad to warrant stopping it. Waging war means destroying the enemy polity – not just their military, which is only a tool for combat, only a small part of waging war – but the polity […]
