I have come to a conclusion on Palin.
The GOP ought to have drafted her as Chair, RNC. It is past obvious that her fundraising and cheerleading skills are unmatched. But – as usual – the GOP was too dumb to do the right thing.
Will she run? There are many in the Center and Right who don’t think she is capable. I disagree – she has more executive experience than our current president, and certainly is an American culturally and socially, which no one can say of The One.
The problem with Palin’s nomination is that McCain destroyed her. Had he let her loose he probably would have won. But since he kept her chained, and since the Center knows he was keeping her chained – and thinks he must have had some reason other than being the worst GOP candidate in a generation (he didn’t, and he was), the Center won’t go for her again – ever.
The LameStream Media is too invested in her destruction – witness the infantile vitriol from the infantile Left after that Lefty whacko shot that Lefty Congresswoman.
For the Media to cover Palin as an adult, experienced candidate will be impossible for them – a bridge too far. If you think they’ve been tough so far, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
Palin should announce that she will not be a candidate for the nomination, but instead will be a full-time GOP 2012 fundraiser. She should announce that her PAC will take money starting IMMEDIATELY for the 2012 race, giving it to the ultimate GOP nominee as soon as he is nominate, and go cheerlead, fundraise and rabble-rouse nationally all she wants. As basically an independent Conservative fundraiser, she could – and would – raise hundreds of millions to save America.
The Tea Party would love her for it. A big portion of the Right will thank her for it. A large portion of the Center will breathe a sigh of relief that the GOP won’t nominate her (even though I think she’d be excellent), allowing the Center to remain on the Right in 2012, saving this nation.
And the ultimate GOP Nominee (LePage?) will have hundreds of millions from her PAC – directly or indirectly.
And since we all know Soros will give a billion this time, mostly through corrupt unions (as if there is any other kind of union), the GOP – and America – will need those hundreds of millions from Sarah to keep America alive in the face of Obama and his fellow traveler anti-American fascist tyrants.
I think it’s the best Palin can do – and she would help our nation tremendously, arguably more so than actually running.
But…. if she runs… I’m ALL IN on Palin.
If she chooses not to – LePage or Christie, with Ryan as VP, West as SecDef, Brewer as DHS, and Romney as SecTreas.
