The Left - Supporting Freedom in Egypt as they Destroy it in America
Sunday, January 30th, 2011 under Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, Politics… and in the largest and most significant under-reported and under-analyzed irony of our young century…
American Democrats are calling for support for Egyptians who are demanding individual freedom, personal liberty, free markets and self-government… as those same American Democrats insist on taking away from American citizens… you guessed it: individual freedom, personal liberty, free markets and self-government… in the name of … Progressivism.
So I guess that means Americans, who have the world’s longest history of self-government, are not qualified for self-government, but Egyptians, who have approximately zero history of self-government ARE qualified for it.
Such is what passes for “thinking” on the Left.
Now, Progressivism[…]

Friday, January 28th, 2011 under Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, PoliticsEspecially following that disastrous SOTU, it is increasingly, glaringly, evident the damage Obama has done and will continue to do as he consciously and purposefully destroys America.

The Rest of the World and Obama
By Steve McCann
One of the primary narratives of the Democrats and the media during the entire tenure of the George W. Bush’s term was that the United States was held in historically low regard throughout the rest of the world. This became, after “Bush lied,” the second-most frequently repeated talking point. Whether there was any basis for this claim was immaterial; it was a handy cudgel for[…]

Thursday, January 27th, 2011 under Domestic, PoliticsI have come to a conclusion on Palin.
The GOP ought to have drafted her as Chair, RNC. It is past obvious that her fundraising and cheerleading skills are unmatched. But - as usual - the GOP was too dumb to do the right thing.
Will she run? There are many in the Center and Right who don’t think she is capable. I disagree - she has more executive experience than our current president, and certainly is an American culturally and socially, which no one can say of The One.
The problem with Palin’s nomination is that McCain destroyed her. Had he let[…]
Continue ReadingGov Christie has Competition! Gov LePage from Maine!
Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 under Domestic, PoliticsRecently received this from a friend. It seems to be an email or article/column from Maine discussing their governor, Paul LePage.
Put him on the 2012 ticket!
******************************
Our new Maine Gov. Paul LePage is making New Jersey ’s Chris Christie look like a wimp. He isn’t afraid to say what he thinks. And, judging by the comments I hear at the cigar shop and other non-political gathering places, every time he opens his mouth his popularity goes up.
He brought down the house at his inauguration when he shook his fist toward the media box and said, “You’re on notice! I’ve inherited a[…]
Continue ReadingHI Gov can’t find birth records, AZ to pass proof of eligibility to be on ballot in 2012.
Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 under Domestic, PoliticsNow that the governor of HI, who boasted that he’s seen the Birth Certificate of the Enemy of the State — and now can’t even FIND any “records of Obama’s birth in Hawaii” … and that AZ is going to pass their law (probably because Obama and Holder pissed them off so badly on SB1070) - requiring official proof of citizenship and complete compliance with the letter of the law as in Article II (defining the requirements for the presidency), my guess is that several more states will pass similar legislation, as well.
The AZ law needs 16 votes to pass the AZ state senate.[…]

Monday, January 17th, 2011 under Domestic, PoliticsDoes this make you wonder?
The great mystery…………..
George Stephanopoulos was a classmate of Obama at Columbia — the class of 1984. He says he never had a single class with him.
Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama, a political science major at Columbia who also graduated in 1983. In 2008, Root said of Obama, “I don’t know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me. I don’t have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. EVER!
Root adds that he was also, like Obama, ”Class of ‘83 political science, pre-law” and says, “You don’t get more exact or closer than that. Never met[…]
Continue Reading“What Has Happened to California?”
Friday, January 14th, 2011 under Baby Boomers, Domestic, Multiculturalism, PoliticsVictor Davis Hanson has an excellent column out today. It prompted a friend to ask, “What has happened to CA?”
Baby Boomer Progressives happened to CA.
Having somehow been raised to actually believe we all are equal - and not just equal before the law, which was the intent of the Founders’ statement - “Progressives” decided to rob the productive to give to the unproductive, to rob the educated to give to the uneducated, to achieve the equality of result they demand in the only way it can be achieved - at the lowest common denominator.
With neither realization nor acceptance that we are[…]

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011 under Baby Boomers, Domestic, PoliticsSo some Marx-reading Lefty whacko shoots a congressperson and the Left immediately goes on the offensive against the… Tea Party? Gee - the guy’s reading Marx, for crying out loud! He’s reading Mein Kampf, the bible of the German National Socialist Workers Party… In America which party wants to nationalize everything? Socialize everything? Do everything for the “Worker”? Hmmm????
It sure isn’t the Tea Party, Krugman.
Those who knew this whack job all say he was a lefty pothead. No surprise there. It’s never been the Right burning stuff down or killing political opponents; it’s ALWAYS been the Left. Oswald was a Marx-reading[…]
