DIVORCE AGREEMENT
Monday, September 20th, 2010 under Domestic, PoliticsDear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al:
We have stuck together since the late 1950’s for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.
Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up[…]
Continue ReadingWelfare Recipients are NOT My Problem
Friday, September 17th, 2010 under Baby Boomers, Domestic, Politics, Taxes & EconomyThe Wall Street Journal had another column yesterday, “Why Democrats Can’t Win on Taxes.” It prompts the below. Net? When someone makes the choice not to take advantage of the education and opportunities America freely offers - and for which I absolutely am willing to pay - it is NOT my problem, and certainly not a problem requiring my kids to have less of what I earn FOR THEM.
As I’ve posted before, in 1972 when the 1968 “liberal” Boomers first got started destroying the country by holding elective office, the debt was $400B, for which we had invented the modern[…]
Friday, September 17th, 2010 under Domestic, Politics, RaceMaxine Waters, currently embroiled in House ethics investigations for her illegal activity, as noted her yesterday, again is in the news.
Yesterday some of her aides got tossed from a Pelosi event due to their boorish behavior.
But that’s not what prompted this post.
I am sick and tired of voters putting into office as representatives of We the People, morons who are fundamentally incapable of expressing themselves publicly in grammatical English.
“It ain’t about Nancy.” Please.
Are we so immature, so ignorant, so un-schooled a people that we elect as our representatives to the most powerful government in the history of mankind people who cannot[…]
Continue ReadingGraph of the Day
Thursday, September 16th, 2010 under Domestic, Miscellaneous, Politics, Taxes & EconomyFor a solid year now, Randall Hoven has compiled data on various topics and presented it accurately with little or no editorial embellishment as the Graph of the Day on American Thinker.
Today he has stopped. One solid year of that level of work was enough.
In his column today saying adieu to this enormous amount of daily work, he provides a very quick overview of many of the topics he has covered with links to each of those graphs which, themselves, include links to source data. He also educates the reader as to where and how to go and get this information.
As John[…]
Continue ReadingAnother Democrat Violating the Law and Congressional Ethics.. yawn
Thursday, September 16th, 2010 under Domestic, PoliticsYet again we have a Democrat pol violating the law. This time she - House Member Eleanor Holmes Norton - is calling, evidently most likely on a government line - soliciting a contribution from an interested party in her geography, in the area in which her committee and subcommittee work and pass legislation.
And she either is SO STUPID she doesn’t know that leaving a voicemail with an illegal request is, um …DUMB, or she feels so entitled that she just doesn’t care about the law. I really can’t tell which it is and will leave the decision up to you.
It is illegal[…]
Continue ReadingTolerance? The post-Enlightenment West vs Islam
Wednesday, September 15th, 2010 under Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, Multiculturalism, Politics, The Rest of the World, War and Terrorism
Here’s a question for you:
Why, in this nation of tolerant people, is THIS acceptable, but THIS is not?
Hmmm?
I ask the tolerant multiculturalists among us.

Monday, September 13th, 2010 under Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, Politics, The Rest of the World, War and TerrorismCongressman Ryan and Arthur Brooks write in the Wall Street Journal today that the choice this November isn’t between parties or candidates - it’s between two stark choices of the future: Will America remain the wealthy free-market country and international beacon of freedom and liberty it has for over 200 years, or will we devolve into the failed European social welfare model?
Unfortunately Ryan and Brooks understate the issues involved.
The choice is not between two models, each of which delivers some definition of “success” to varying sub-groups of society at varying costs to society at-large, costs particularly borne by those sub-groups not[…]

Monday, September 13th, 2010 under Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, Politics, War and TerrorismIn case you have forgotten.. or in the event that, like me, you want to be able occasionally to review what happened on 9-11.
In memory of those who died in NY, DC, PA and IN far-off places fighting for our freedoms and liberties against a brutal totalitarian ideology that some still believe is a “religion,” and which MUST BE STOPPED.

Sunday, September 12th, 2010 under Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, Politics, War and TerrorismThis is a must-read for all Americans and all peoples of the West or those who aspire to be free.
Geert Wilders 9/11 Ground Zero Speech
–Andrew G. Bostom
Geert Wilders, the Dutch politician under threat of death from radical Islamists, gave a speech yesterday at Ground Zero that all Americans should pay attention to.
Dear friends,
May I ask you to be silent for ten seconds? Just be silent and listen. Ten seconds. And listen… What we hear are the sounds of life in the greatest city on earth. No place in the world, no place in human history, is as richly varied and vibrant[…]
Continue ReadingObama - Americans Must Accept the Dangers of Radical islam.. too bad.
Friday, September 10th, 2010 under Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, Politics, War and TerrorismWhen you get right down to it, Obama’s lack of willingness to take responsibility for his job is appalling.
We are America. We don’t accept stuff we don’t need to. We do whatever it takes to keep ourselves safe- from a Normandy landing to Hiroshima, from the Marshall Plan to rebuild Europe and keep them - and us - safe to overthrowing violent dictators feeding their subjects to dogs or putting people into shredders.
But here is our Commander-in-Chief, our president yesterday:
“There is always going to be the potential for an individual or a small group of individuals, if they are willing to[…]
