A Great Alternative to A Body Scan at Airports

The Israelis are developing an airport security device that eliminates the privacy concerns that come with full-body scanners at the airports. They have a booth that you can step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have on you.

No more waiting in long lines; no more removing your shoes, belt, jacket, hat, watch, cell phone, coins, laptop….

No false positives – if you don’t have any explosives on you, you walk on out. If you do, you get blown-up by YOUR OWN explosives.

No evidentiary issues. No slick lawyer getting you off. No racial profiling.

This method also would eliminate the costs of a long and expensive trial as well as lengthy incarceration.

Justice would be quick and swift. Case Closed! If you blow-up, you were guilty and your sentence self-executed. Not even any 8th Amendment cruel and unusual punishment issues as the State isn’t deciding or implementing your punishment – you are!

You’re in the airport terminal and you hear a muffled explosion.

Shortly thereafter, an announcement comes over the PA system……

“Attention standby passengers – we now have a seat available on El Al flight number 386.”

Hats off to the Israelis!!!!

It isn’t even mean.. the guy was going to kill himself anyway, you just allowed him a little privacy to do so and saved tens or hundreds of non-barbarians (and millions of dollars) at the same time.. It’s a twofer!

About Alex Scipio

About Alex Scipio: Alex moved out of the People's Republic of California to the Free State of Arizona, finally tiring of the lack of the Bill of Rights, the overgrown idiocracy, and the catering to non-Americans & welfare recipients. He still wonders how America got from Truman, Eisenhower, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan to the Liberal and Conservative extremes so badly managing America today. And, yes, islam DOES need to be annihilated. And doing what he can to get folks away from the extremes of political life.
