This is an extremely interesting column by George Friedman, the CEO of StratFor, a global civilian intelligence organization.

Accepting that the two most-talked about ideas (striking Iran, cutting-off their gasoline supply) won’t work for some very realistic and factual reasons, he posits what seems to be a new - and quite intriguing idea, the possible repercussions of which could be very good.

Read it and consider….

Although he lacks faith in Obama to pursue this, and though Obama may be too low in political capital even to try something this counterintuitive, I wonder….  Obama may be intelligent and even cunning, after all….

Perhaps by following this road Obama could swing votes his way on Healthcare?
