“Bankrupt” 49% of America’s Electricity; “Skyrocket” Energy Prices?!

Millions – tens of millions? – of “working class” voters will vote for Obama on the 4th. Tomorrow.

Are they aware that Obama’s stated policies on electricity rates will cause the price of this most basic necessity of all basic necessities “to skyrocket”?

Obama wants to bankrupt the coal industry – 49% of America’s electricity… 120,150 jobs in 2007.

Obama wants electricity prices “to necessarily skyrocket.”

These are Obama’s words! “Bankrupt.” “Skyrocket.”

Now you can funnel water into a barrel when it rains or pump it out of the ground, and you can grow your own food. But the difference between a first-world country and a developing country is the availability and price of electricity.

You can’t make that stuff at home at any price middle class America can afford.

And isn’t Obama supposed to be on the side of the poor? Does he just not realize how regressive this policy is? If the Obama’s electricity rates go from a few hundred dollars to a thousand dollars a month – no big deal. He has millions from his books, a six-figure salary and his wife makes $300K.

But if some family making the average wage for a coal miner of $66,601, has their electricity bill go from $100 to $300, the impact on them, their future, their kids is HUGE.

So for Obama, coal miners are just out of luck and out of work. I guess they won’t need that electricity anyway. No money to buy anything, no lights to turn on, no refrigerator to keep food cold. I guess those kids can read by firelight on their way to college! You bet. Good education plan.

So much for THEIR future. Poof!

And Obama wants to make electricity prices “skyrocket”??? This hits everyone – including causing the costs of our exports to skyrocket – moving EVEN MORE JOBS OVERSEAS!!!!!!!

Does Obama have no clue as to the amount of electricity used by the steel industry? Blast furnaces are RUN BY ELECTRICITY. He obviously wants to move all the remaining steel jobs offshore, as well. Evidently Obama’s manufacturing policy is to move ALL manufacturing overseas.

Think of how many day-to-day things are made with steel. Try to think of something NOT made of steel.

Umm… isn’t the auto industry in bad shape now? And those cars are made of…. steel? I guess they won’t be made in an Obama America. That steel will be made and bought and fabricated and put onto cars made in some other country because it’ll be just too damned expensive to make or use steel here.

So there’s no need to bail out Detroit with $25B tax dollars – they won’t be making cars anyway.

Are Detroit voters LISTENING? Pennsylvania? Ohio? West Virginia? Wyoming? Colorado?

Don’t San Francisco-9%-Nancy Democrats care about the working people? About ALL Americans?!?

Of course not. Need any more proof than this?

And Obama said this in JANUARY! Where has the mainstream media BEEN on this?!?!? Don’t they think those these policies will affect (e.g. ALL OF US) need to know this?

You know how much electricity is used in running newspaper printing presses? Aren’t they kind of in the ditch now, too?

And the TV networks? My TV takes electricity to watch and listen to the mainstream media… how about yours?

These two policies ALONE – to “bankrupt” coal and cause electricity prices to “skyrocket” – his own words – will tank the economy.

The ENTIRE economy.

Guess that’s one way to fix the financial crisis: Destroy the economy.

Where will he get his tax revenue then?

Working and middle-class voters are really going to vote for this guy?

About Alex Scipio

About Alex Scipio: Alex moved out of the People's Republic of California to the Free State of Arizona, finally tiring of the lack of the Bill of Rights, the overgrown idiocracy, and the catering to non-Americans & welfare recipients. He still wonders how America got from Truman, Eisenhower, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan to the Liberal and Conservative extremes so badly managing America today. And, yes, islam DOES need to be annihilated. And doing what he can to get folks away from the extremes of political life.
