Americans on Government Spending v. Tax Cuts

“Fifty-eight percent (58%) of U.S. voters say more tax cuts will better stimulate the economy than new government spending, even as Congress considers a second stimulus plan that could cost as much as $300 billion.”

Now then, one party is always calling the other, “out of the mainstream.” Now that we know that the mainstream tax cuts,  let’s see how these Americans vote.

Will we vote for the guy who wants to increase out taxes about two trillion dollars (by letting the Bush tax cuts expire, ending the cap on earnings funding Social Security and coming up with $800B of new spending progams)? Or the guy who wants to NOT increase those taxes and wants to curtail even that “just $18B of earmarks” spending.

What do YOU think?

Hint: They’ll vote like they always do – like when Congress has a 12% approval rating, the lowest ever recorded, they’ll vote to keep THEIR guy in office cuz it’s the OTHER guy that’s bad and we will see the return of about 97% of this 12%-Congress. Watch.

And, OBTW, who REALLY is “out of the mainstream”? Though you certainly wouldn’t know it by the media…

About Alex Scipio

About Alex Scipio: Alex moved out of the People's Republic of California to the Free State of Arizona, finally tiring of the lack of the Bill of Rights, the overgrown idiocracy, and the catering to non-Americans & welfare recipients. He still wonders how America got from Truman, Eisenhower, and Daniel Patrick Moynihan to the Liberal and Conservative extremes so badly managing America today. And, yes, islam DOES need to be annihilated. And doing what he can to get folks away from the extremes of political life.
