Was ABC News Kidding?
Monday, September 15th, 2008 under Domestic, PoliticsFor those coming away from the Palin-Gibson interview with the idea that Palin was a warmonger who couldn’t wait to attack Russia, the below just puts Gibson is the same low gutter politics of NBC and Olberman. So I guess ABC can join NBC (”Obama’s Pet Peacock” per National Review) as both completely in the tank for Obama.
From Newsbusters and JustOneMinute.com: The bold text was edited out by ABC in their intention to portray Palin as a rube and a warmonger. If she were a rube and a warmonger, of course, her comments wouldn’t require editing to make that point, now,[…]

Monday, September 15th, 2008 under Domestic, Politics, Taxes & EconomyCoincidence? I don’t think so….
What do the top ten cities with the highest poverty rate all have in common? Democrat leadership.
Detroit , MI (1st on the poverty rate list) hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1961;
Buffalo , NY (2nd) …since 1954;
Cincinnati , OH (3rd)…since 1984;
Cleveland , OH (4th)…since 1989;
Miami , FL (5th) … since …never ;
St. Louis , MO (6th)…since 1949;
El Paso , TX (7th) …since…never;
Milwaukee , WI (8th)…since 1908;
Philadelphia , PA (9th)…since 1952;
Newark , NJ (10th)…since 1907.

Friday, September 12th, 2008 under Domestic, PoliticsTHANK YOU FOR THE INVITATION TO BE HERE TONIGHT. I LOOK FORWARD TO OUR TIME TOGETHER.
BECAUSE OF THE LEVEL OF SCRUTINY I HAVE RECEIVED – WHICH IS APPROPRIATE AS I WAS AN UNKNOWN AND WE ARE ASKING YOU, THE VOTERS, TO ELECT ME TO AN IMPORTANT OFFICE – I DO HAVE SOME OPENING REMARKS.
I KNOW THAT EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN AN IMPORTANT - AND APPROPRIATE - PART OF THE MEDIA COVERAGE OF ME, AND OF QUESTIONS FROM OUR OPPONENTS. AND I KNOW THE MEDIA AND THE OTHER CAMPAIGN WANT TO BE FAIR SO AS TO PRESENT AMERICAN VOTERS WITH A BALANCED[…]
Continue ReadingFather and Daughter Talk
Friday, September 12th, 2008 under Domestic, PoliticsA young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, and among other liberal ideals, was very much in favor of higher taxes to support more government programs, in other words re-distribution of wealth.
She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Republican, a feeling she openly expressed. Based on the lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he[…]

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 under Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, Politics, The Rest of the WorldSo… the World wants Obama as President.
And… the same World doesn’t know who was behind 9/11 .
Obviously the “world” is so totally clueless that no one should be surprised when the “world” continually hammers the most successful nation in history, demanding implementation of the same tried and failed policies of the “world” until we, too, decide to commit national suicide, until we, too, cannot save ourselves from local violence and must call on others to stop bloodshed we can’t stop.
Question: Whom will the World call?
The most intriguing part is that there are Americans so insecure they actually care what the “world” thinks.

Continue ReadingThe Media will Ensure a McCain/Palin Win
Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 under Domestic, PoliticsThe American electorate has been split just about 50-50 for over a decade. Polling for this year’s race shows basically a dead-heat between McCain and Obama; either party still can win this thing.
Now where the adults play – big business – money is often given to both parties in order to ensure some level of favorable treatment by whoever wins.
But where adolescents play, where tinsel-town celebrities make news yammering about taking their ball and “moving to France” if they don’t get their way, and where the media are run by those of similar immaturity, the idea of ensuring balanced campaign reporting[…]

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 under Domestic, PoliticsThis is hilarous - and on-target:
“Obama At Bon Jovi Event: ‘We Won’t Be Bullied’
“Whether Obama is revealing personal weakness or simply highlighting the historic weakness of his party, this is not talk that projects strength, especially in the current context - what is Obama saying, he won’t be bullied by a 44 year old hockey mom? Stand Tall, Barack - you won’t be bullied by Sarah Palin! OMG, is this a secret plan to assassinate Putin by making him laugh so hard he gets an aneurysm? Or is this Laugh Attack launched at the Right Blogosphere (It’s working! I can[…]
Continue ReadingObama’s Irrelevant America
Monday, September 8th, 2008 under Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, Politics, Taxes & Economy, The Rest of the WorldLeft unsaid amongst the electioneering is the reason an Obama presidency would be bad for America – and for the world: The Europeanization of America.
Any objective view of Europe concludes with the irrelevance of the continent. Literally speaking, nothing Europe does matters anymore. Even an honest Europhile will admit of this.
European economies do not create domestic jobs for their citizens. European citizens are not consumers – which is what drives the global wealth engine. European citizens do not seem able to police themselves, either domestically or within their continent.
Force projection, for good (tsunami aid, dislodging a foreign tyrannical dictator, a[…]

Saturday, September 6th, 2008 under Demographics, Domestic, Foreign Policy and International, PoliticsLeft unsaid amongst all the chattering about experience is the reason an Obama presidency would be bad for America – and for the world: The Europeanization of America.
For unknown reasons the American Left demands the introduction in America of the social policies that have failed the people of Europe:
• Benefits that outweigh any ability to pay for them
• An economy that cannot create new jobs
• A birth rate that is ensuring the rapid disappearance of the historical Europe that introduced freedom, liberty, the rule of law, capitalism and the individual and national wealth only capitalism has proven able to generate – as well[…]
Obama’s Experience
Saturday, September 6th, 2008 under Domestic, PoliticsSen. Obama, as we all know by now, was a “Community Organizer” in Chicago for a number of years. He and his supporters tell us his experience in performing in such a difficult job qualifies him to be President.
OK. For the sake of discussion, let’s accept this assumption: Being a Community Organizer qualifies one to be President.
That being the case, let’s look at his results with an eye out for the success achieved and what it tells of his methods, ideas, ability to make decisions, and - most of all - his results.
If the job istelf qualifies as experience, as others believe being a Senator[…]
