This is on the NOW site right now. The chair of the NOW PAC: “Finally, as the chair of NOW’s Political Action Committee, I am frequently asked whether NOW supports women candidates just because they are women. This gives me an opportunity to once again answer that question with an emphatic ‘No.’ We recognize the importance of having women’s rights supporters at every level but, like Sarah Palin, not every woman supports women’s rights.”

 

I guess supporting women’s rights means demanding that women NOT have the RIGHT TO CHOOSE THEIR OWN POLITICS, huh?

 

This, of course, is of a piece with Blacks calling other Blacks “race-traitors” when they MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS RATHER THAN MIMICKING THE PLANTATION OWNER who, in these cases, also happens to be LIBERAL - black or white.

 

Women’s lib has resulted in Sarah Palin - and Geraldine Ferraro and Hillary Clinton and good for us and about time. But now that we are equal we ALL need to be able to choose our way - that’s what liberation is all about - whether of a gender or a nation.

 

This is what the Left can’t stand - any choice that doesn’t forward their cause. Their demands really aren’t about equality in the marketplace or the back-room; they are about power - pure, unadulterated, totalitarian power. This is what the Left has ALWAYS been about - and ALWAYS WILL BE about.
