“New data from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute shows that there is more ice than normal in the Arctic waters north of the Svalbard archipelago. In most years, there are open waters in the area north of the archipelago in July month. So far we have the Norwegians, the Swedes, the Russians, and professors in Australia, reporters in the UK, and half of America discussing the lack of supporting evidence to Al Gore’s scare tactics. Isn’t it, oh, monocultural, to insist that what scientists in many countries hold as evidence - from ice to sunspots - is false as it flies in the face of American Prophet AlGore?

Seems the multucultural way forward would be to acknowledge the lack of science in the Warming debate, sit down with a bunch of Climatologists (no, the IPCC Summary was NOT written by Climatologists and does NOT accurately reflect the text of the report itself), and come to a consensus of some type based on science rather than Gore? And then move forward on policies to deal with whatever the problem may actually be?

If, of course, we want to be so anthropocentric as to assume that humans ought to control mass systems like Gaia’s weather, right?
