Memorial Day Differences
President Bush on Memorial Day, 2008:
“On this Memorial Day, I stand before you as the Commander-in-Chief and try to tell you how proud I am at the sacrifice and service of the men and women who wear our uniform. They’re an awesome bunch of people and the United States is blessed to have such citizens.”
Barack Obama on Memorial Day, 2008:
“On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today [emphasis added] — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong…”
“Memorial Day honors those who have died in our nation’s military service. Is it possible that Obama does not know this? Sometimes the things that come out of his mouth defy understanding.” (Powerline Blog)
So, to recap, Obama thinks he sees dead people in the audience …..
People exist who think this guy is ready to be President? Of a country?
And his staff doesn’t understand the difference between the dead whom we honor on Memorial Day and the living present in an audience, so writing a speech of idiocy for their candidate to give?
This staff is ready to help this clown lead the Free World?
Really?
