Which really is the “War Party”?

Let’s begin in 1800 and go through 04/19/08, and let’s skip the Civil War - pro-slavery Demos attacked anti-slavery Republicans, but let’s leave it out. (Doing so doesn’t materially change the conclusions.)

Given duration and KIA, (D) Administrations kill American military personnel at a rate of 2,037 per month; (R) at 36 per month. In the same amount of time, in other words, (D) kill 56 times as many Americans as do (R).

Of these wars, America was attacked by the British in 1812, and by the Japanese in WWII. In all others American forces were introduced into combat by a President of the party indicated, when America had not been attacked - including the European theater of WWII.

Less than 1% of American KIA were killed in a war entered into by a Republican president. But the Democrats call the GOP  the “War Party.” And the “anti-war” folks all are (D). Hilarious, isn’t it?

Go here and here for the stats.

Heckuva commentary on education in America, isn’t it?

Go wig out your friends….

Are you considering that we SHOULDN’T have entered WW2? The Fascists had a legitimate goal of world domination. It was one of the ONLY wars that we fought that was actually worth fighting. This was more-so an act of defense. The Republicans are the ones who supported military Coups and state backed terrorism in 3rd-world countries. You asshats are laughable.
PS: Many of these wars were supported by both parties. Just because the Commander-in-chief [at the time] was Democratic does NOT mean that all democrats supported the war. Democrats are notorious for being liberals, and liberals are notorious for being anti-war. I wouldn’t suggest that Political parties speak for it’s supporters but all Republicans that I have spoken to support the current wars. Democrats, on the other hand, would like to have that money spent on other things such as education.
This thread is ridiculous, hence the lack of comments.
