Here is yet another idiocy of the Left. Somehow the Left can equate all cultures as relative – and relatively benign (except, of course, the United Sates and the West due to their indescribable brutality, evil, bigotry and everything else that causes people like Michelle Obama never to be proud of us, but nevertheless to raise her children here).

(News Flash, Mrs. Obama: If you aren’t proud of your country, if our “soul” is “sick” raise your children elsewhere - or don’t have them. What better way to foment hate across the generations than to raise kids in a country of which you constantly tell them they cannot be proud?)

But as soon as those other cultures which are, by definition – surprise! – different than ours, do something which our “Liberals” (the same decrying “American Empire”), reject, then, bam!, we’re supposed to castigate them, reject them, cut-off trade with them, basically to do everything we can to ensure that they – DON’T ACT DIFFERENTLY!

China treats it citizens differently than we treat ours? Boycott the Olympics!

China refuses to free Tibet? Boycott the Opening Ceremonies!

Am I missing something here?

These people (”Liberals” in countries that actually practice modern liberal traditions – only parts of the West) preach multiculturalism 24×7, but when faced with actual cultures that actually are – gasp! Different! – they whine and complain and want to boycott whatever - - until those other cultures behave like… umm… like, well, uh… like Westerners! Not only Westerners, but Americans! With all the rights, liberties, customs, traditions of the West – particularly of America – Women’s rights, btw, are accepted in America and some countries of Europe and are not recognized even within the rest of the West!

So – the real two questions are:

1. How can one complain 24×7 about America, yet demand that all other countries and cultures behave exactly as we do, and,
2. How can one mind – a “Liberal” or “Progressive” mind at that (self-accepted as more intelligent, though no one can tell why) - hold diametrically opposed thoughts, to wit: Only Western patterns of behavior are acceptable, but we must do all we can to destroy Western patterns of behavior.

The answers, of course, are:

1. Scratch a Multiculturalist and an American Imperialist bleeds
2. That mind was taught by unionized teachers, and/or influenced by the media, the vast majority of which were taught by unionized teachers.
